Q: How do I care for my hairpiece?

A: To remove knots and tangles in our vacuum wigs, start at the end of the hair and gently comb downward, working up the hair until all tangles are removed,  We recommend that you use a wide-tooth comb or brushes that minimize breakage.

Shampooing:
1. Clean vacuum wigs every 12-15 days if you are wearing it daily. Either secure your piece to a rubber mannequin head, or if you don’t have a mannequin head, hold your unit at one end leaving the hair hanging.  Apply shampoo by working gently from the base to the ends of the hair, doing so in one DOWNWARD DIRECTION ONLY. To rinse, run tap water through your unit from top to bottom.

2. Dilute a small amount of shampoo in a basin of cool water. Gently draw the hair system through the solution, keeping hair movement in one direction. Drain water and rinse the hair system with cool water. Make sure that the hair is moving in the same direction.
